Sesuatu yang besar terlihat disini...! Pantas saja garapan rumah modifikasi asal Jerman pada sebuah mobil berbasis Smart Utility Vehicle (SUV) ini diberi nama MAMMUT. Penggunaan item yang dipasangkan oleh A.R.T pada bagian eksterior, sepertinya melengkapi kegagahan sang GL-Class berkelir putih tersebut. Meskipun, A.R.T. tidak melakukan perubahan yang signifikan pada sektor dapur pacu, tampaknya mobil ini sudah cukup baik dengan bangunan V6 dan V8 sebagai opsional sang GL.

Mungkin anda bertanya-tanya, kenapa mobil ini diberinama GL MAMUUT ? Mari kita tilik sedikit mengenai filosofi pemilihan nama sang GL SUV ini. Terinspirasi dari seekor binatang berbadan besar yaitu MAMMOTH, dari situlah nama MAMMUT diusung oleh para tuner dari A.R.T. untuk menggambarkan karya terhadap sebuah mobil Mercedes Benz GL yang kali ini diberi nama "GL MAMMUT." Kesan agresif mobil ini terlihat dari penegasan pada fender depan, lampu utama LED, lubang udara yang dibuat lebih lebar, serta lampu samping dan lampu kabut yang juga mengalami pelebaran. Inilah yang menjadikan si MAMUUT jadi terlihat makin besar.

Untuk bagian belakang, GL MAMMUT juga diberikan lampu belakang LED yang akan menyala jika ada bagian pintu yang terbuka atauapun belum tertutup rapat. Berlanjut sedikit kebagian bawah, anda akan melihat diffuser belakang yang dilengkapi dengan empat pipa gas buang berlogo sang tuner yang sudah dikrom. Logo A.R.T. juga terdapat pada bgian spoiler atas si MAMUUT. Untuk mempermudah si penumpang, lampu Steplight juga diaplikasikan agar penumpang bisa dengan mudah menjangkau area kabin.

Pada bagian interiornya, A.R.T. juga melengkapi sang GL dengan unsur kulit yang bervariasi mulai dari kulit/kayu, kulit/kulit, kulit/Alcantara, atau kulit/ serta karbon. Bagian kabin juga dilengkapi dengan setir kendali bergaya sporty. Sentuhan pada dapur pacu memang tidak dilakukan oleh A.R.T. secara besar-besaran. Mereka hanya melengkapi mesin V6 dan V8 yang ada dengan perangkat CDI. Meskipun hanya melakukan sedikit sentuhan, sang GL MAMMUT tetap bisa meningkatkan kecepatannya ketimbang GL-Class standar. "Kadang kita kan mengucapkan bahasa Inggris dengan logat daerah, tapi ternyata bisa dimengerti dengan mudah oleh sensor. Buktinya, apa yang kita perintahkan dijalankan dengan baik," ungkap Majid, sembari memperlihatkan cara kerja voice comment di showroom Ford Jalan AP Pettarani.

Di pasaran kendaraan baru, produk ini merupakan yang pertama di kelasnya menggunakan suara sebagai pengendali sistem di dalam mobil jenis hatchback. Bahkan, dengan bantuan Bluetooth built-in memungkinkan pengemudi dan penumpang di dalamnya melakukan koneksi dengan ponsel.

Dijelaskan Majid, pengguna Ford Fiesta dapat melakukan panggilan telepon tanpa harus repot memencet tombol yang sangat mengganggu saat mengemudi. "Jadi, tinggal menggunakan suara untuk melakukan panggilan. Selain itu, juga bisa digunakan untuk menyalakan radio. Tapi yang perlu diingat adalah voice command ini hanya berfungsi dengan bahasa Inggris," jelas Majid.

Sejatinya, Fiesta mengincar pria dan wanita mapan yang berusia antara 25-40 tahun. Bisa saja yang diincar kaum eksekutif muda, supervisor, junior manager, dan sebagainya.

Hanya dengan menyentuh satu tombol, sistem hiburan dan komunikasi di Fiesta dapat diatur melalui voice activation. Sehingga berkendara dan memutar musik menjadi dua hal yang berkesan futuristis, serta lebih aman ketika mengemudi.

Selain itu, karena harganya terjangkau, memiliki fitur canggih dan konsumsi BBM yang irit, tak salah bila Ford Fiesta menjadi pertimbangan utama pembeli untuk memilikinya. Ada dua pilihan mesin Ford Fiesta, yakni 1.400cc berkode 1.4L Sigma, DOHC, 16 Valve dengan MPE-FI dan 1.600cc dengan spek 1.6L Duratec, DOHC, Ti-VCT, 16 Valve dengan MPE-FI.

Jong has put together a design for a 2025 Saab Concept that combines the elements of nature and human psychology fit to warn other vehicles of any impending danger. The 2025 Advanced Warning System Vehicle concept is a four door saloon that comes with various warning signals to alert other drivers when he vehicle is getting too close or is driving recklessly. The same amber slips are found on the front and sides of the vehicle. Jong took his inspiration from nature’s Fire Salamander, which uses its bright, menacing colours to ward off potential predators.

Sepertinya kita harus mengakui bahwa beberapa konsep desain mobil yang dikerjakan secara independen mungkin ada yang wajar dan mempunyai kualitas yang biasa-biasa saja. Tapi tidak semua desain seperti itu, terkadang ada yang membuat kita hanya bisa duduk terdiam dan hanya mampu memperhatikannya saja. Salah satunya, seperti konsep Ferrari 612 GTO yang dibuat Sasha Selipanov, di Berlin, Jerman.

Vini, vidi, vici...saya datang, saya lihat, dan saya menang. Ungkapan ini terasa tepat kita berikan kepada Frans Darmawan dari klub Option. Tak hanya sekedar datang iapun mampu meraih gelar tertinggi The King of Autoblackthrough Yogyakarta pada kali pertama keikutsertaannya di ajang ini. Pria yang menjabat selaku Komisaris PT Solo Marmer ini tampil menghentak bersama Citroen BX 19 GTi lansiran tahun 1991 dengan tema modif Citroen Aliens Concept.

Setting mobil dan panggung sudah dibuat apik layaknya mobil alien di bumi dengan latar UFO diatasnya. Terlihat menonjol dari mobil ini ialah bukaan-bukaan body yang bisa dilakukan otomatis menggunakan remote. Tercatat 4 bagian body yang bisa terbuka via remote mulai dari kap mesin, pintu, atap, dan bagasi belakang. Seperti dijelaskan Frans berikut " Perubahan pada Citroen ini mulai dari body, kaca, dan pintu semua menggunakan bahan plat dengan sistem motorized dan pneumatic ".

Sejak perusahaan spesialis kendaraan Offroad atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Qt Services mengambil alih produksi Wildcat, mereka terus melakukan segala hal terutama dalam pengembangan dan meluncurkan kendaraan off-road terbaru. Baru-baru ini Qt Services kembali mengambil alih produksi kendaraan 4x4s dari Bowler dengan memperkenalkan Wildcat 300STR seri terbaru. Kehadiran 300STR seri terbaru didukung oleh mesin yang sangat handal serta balutan eksterior yang mencolok ditambah sentuhan fitur-fitur interior moderen.

New Volvo V60 Meluncur Dengan 8 Pilihan Mesin

Dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan, perusahaan mobil asal Swedia yang dikenal dengan nama Volvo baru saja meluncurkan produk V60 terbaru. Mobil wagon dengan sentuhan sporty ini mempunyai lima pintu dengan 8 pilihan mesin berbeda dalam upaya untuk memikat setidaknya 50.000 pelanggan Volvo setiap tahunnya. Selain itu mobil ini juga dilengkapi oleh fitur-fitur terbaru, peningkatan sistem hiburan di bagiana kabin dan diklaim sebagai kendaraan sport pertama yang menggunakan Advanced Stability Control.

Adapun 8 pilihan mesin berbeda pada Volvo V60 terbaru ini 3 diantaranya bermesin diesel sedangkan sisanya bermesin bensin. Untuk mesin Bensin Volvo menawarkan 2 unit mesin berkapasitas 1.6-liter konfigurasi 4cyl in-line dengan tenaga yang dikeluarkan sebesar 180 bhp dan 150 bhp serta torsi puncak 240 Nm

Citroen Survolt Akan Melaju Pertama Kali di Le Mans

Citroen Survolt, mobil konsep yang dikenal dengan aroma sporty ini pertama kali diperkenalkan kepada publik diajang Geneva Salon bulan Maret tahun lalu, kini mobil tersebut akan menginjakkan kakinya untuk pertama kali di track Le Mans Classic pada tanggal 10 July mendatang. Rencananya pada tanggal tersebut mobil Citroen Survolt akan dikemudikan oleh seorang perempuan bernama Vanina Ickx. Vanina adalah putri dari pembalap Formula One asal Belgia yaitu Jacky Ickx.

Seiring dengan meluncurnya Survolt untuk pertama kalinya ditrack, Produsen mobil Perancis juga akan melengkapi gambar dan memperbaharui rincian teknis Survolt sementara yang pernah diungkapkan pada bulan Maret lalu. Meski masih berbentuk prototype, mobil ini diperkirakan memiliki panjang panjang 3.85m, 1.87m lebar, 1.2m tinggi dan sudah dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur sebagaimana layaknya mobil sport, diantaranya chassis tubular, permukaan bawah menggunakan extractor dan body full karbon. Jika ditimbang, berat mobil ini sekitar 1,150 kg atau 2,535 pounds.

BMW X6 Performance Meluncur Terbatas Di Jepang

Ingin melihat BMW X6 terbaru ?, anda harus pergi ke Jepang. Ya benar, baru-baru ini pabrikan mobil mewah yang berpusat di Jerman baru saja meluncurkan produk teranyarnya yaitu BMW X6 Performance. Menurut kabar yang beredar, rencananya mobil ini hanya akan dijual beberapa unit saja. Karena mobil ini dijual dalam jumlah terbatas maka beberapa sektor baik itu dalam maupun diluar dikemas secara apik begitu juga pada bagian mesin, meski menggunakan mesin standar atau masih sama tetapi tenaga yang dihasilkan jauh lebih besar ketimbang X6 standar.

Kita semua telah melihat modifikasi matte hitam dan pink wraps akhir-akhir ini. Tentu saja, warna-warna itu tampaknya sudah terlalu biasa ketika ditampilkan, karena warna itu merupakan warna standar yang bukan merupakan konsep dari sebuah modifikasi. Perkembangan zaman menambah tingginya nilai desain yang dilahirkan oleh sang modifikator, dengan diciptakannya hasil yang maksimal dan orisinil, modifikator haruslah menuangkan ide kreatifnya kedalam sebuah konsep. Dengan adanya konsep, modifikator tau apa yang nanti akan dia buat. Apa kesan yang didapat dari mobil yang dibungkus warna hitam, tak ada bedanyakan dengan mobil baru keluaran pabrik.

Untuk sebagian penikmat modifikasi, mobil akan terlihat lebih kaya dengan warna emas. Mobil sport terakhir yang menampilkan tren baru ini adalah Audi R8 di Moskow, Rusia.

Ford Shelby GT 500 2011

Permintaan pelanggan baru Ford Shelby GT 500 2011 tumbuh secara cepat di dunia produksi. Lebih dari 3.300 pesanan telah ditempatkan untuk Shelby GT 500 baru. Untuk memastikan eksklusivitas, penjualan di AS untuk Shelby GT 500 2011 akan terbatas pada 5.500 unit.

Dengan menggunakan mesin canggih yang dipindahkan pada Wire Plasma Arc (PTWA) lapisan liners, sebuah proses dengan lapisan komposit 150 micron yang berisi nanopartikel pada permukaan internal lubang silinder mesin, menggantikan liners besi yang biasanya digunakan dalam blok mesin aluminium. Penemuan teknologi PTWA Ford tersebut baru dipatenkan dalam acara Nasional Award tahun 2009 lalu

Untuk alasan ini insinyur di G POWER memutuskan untuk menyesuaikannya dengan M X6 dengan nafas yang mengambil kinerja teknologi Formula 1.

Lamborghini Indomable Concept was developed by Daniel Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez de Chinchilla Scuola Politecnica di Design Master Albilares collaboration with Lamborghini, under the control of Filipo Périne, head of the Centro Stile and designer Alessandro SALVAGNINI.

Unlike other concepts, this one has the validity and go ahead from it's parent company that the design language thesis is borrowed from. The entire project was conducted under the supervision of the head of the Centro Stile, Filipo Perini and designer Alessandro Salvagnin.

The Lamborghini Indomable is a study of a production sportscar based on the Gallardo and with a design inspired by modern jetfighters, this has got to be one of the most contemporary designs to come out of Sant’Agata Bolognese in years, so let’s just hope they build it. The Lamborghini Indomable Concept was inspired by the exterior is a new generation of stealth fighter jets like the F22 Raptor. It is of course not the first car drove the design was inspired by Jet.

The front end is a futuristic take on the Lamborghini brand design, with the radiators located in the middle and the two angular intakes are designed to feed cool air to the brakes. The engine cover is inspired by the functional system of the F22 which features invisible weapons bay doors and the typical zig zag assembly pattern. The “Y” shape at the center leaves the V10 engine visible through a glass surface.

The designer of the Lamborghini Indomable Sports Cars Concept, Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa, has been working in transport design for the last 4 years, developing urban buses, OEM accessories and special editions for VW, GM, Ford, Peugeot and Seat in Mexico. Today, he fulfills the role of freelance Transport and Product designer.

When he speaks about his work, the designer of the Lamborghini Indomable Concept, Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa said: “Soft transitions between the surfaces with hard cuts are the main design cues. These create the functional elements of the car. Side view shows a composite wing of abstraction, giving the impression that the car waiting to act as a jet since the start of the carrier.”
